Teen Haven
A Residential Program-- Education, Counseling & Support
The Teen Haven program, with its full-time 24-hour staff, strives to provide teen mothers with the necessary skills for readjustment back into the community. The teens have a highly structured and supportive living environment to assist them to successfullly live in the community. Independent living skills are obtained through training in life skills management, which includes both job and parenting skills, academic instruction, counselling and support.
Teen Haven is a component of Teen Services and a registered charity governed by a board of directors. Its main source of income is derived from: a Bermuda government grant, an annual tag day, public donations, and a monthly fee from each resident. The monthly fee covers room, board and the Teen Haven program.
