The Bermuda School Certificate (BSC) Program

                             The BSC program offers twenty-five courses, which are usually
accelerated as well as individualized to fit the needs of pregnant
                             teens and teen mothers.


The General Educational Development (GED) Program

The GED program is an alternative route to obtaining a school certificate, and students enter the program by parental request only. The GED program covers five subjects: math, language arts: reading, language arts: writing , science, and social studies. These courses, scheduled Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon, allow students the opportunity to obtain part-time employment. The GED program is for at-risk females.

  for the official GED examination. Make an appointment today.

The Pre-GED Program

The pre-GED program is for pregnant teens who lack basic academic skills, particularly in reading and comprehension.  In this program, the English teacher concentrates on upgrading the student's reading ability with the use of a specialized computer reading program, in addition to the services of a retired reading specialist and other classroom activities. The aim of this program is to provide the student with the basic skills necessary to acquire a job.  When the student shows  great improvement, she transfers into the GED program.

Counseling Sessions

                          In addition to group counseling, students attend individual 
                          counseling sessions with an assigned social worker.


Parenting/Child Care Courses

The school also provides on-site parenting and child care classes.
